W. Irian Jaya needs 310 civil servants

MANOKWARI, Papua: West Irian Jaya Governor Bram Atururi stated on Monday that his administration needed at least 310 civil servants to support this year's development activities in the newly created province.

University graduates are especially needed in the province, while teachers and nurses with proper certification are also a priority in the recruitment process, he said.

Bram said the new civil servants would be placed in nine regencies across West Irian Jaya. --Antara
