VT Markets Launch Ramadan Community Outreach to Help 100 Families in East Jakarta, Indonesia
Jakarta, Indonesia — VT Markets has implemented the ‘Ramadan Community Outreach’ programme, conducted in collaboration with the YCAB Foundation, an Indonesian nonprofit organisation focused on empowering youth and community development through education, financial inclusion, and sustainable economic support.
To mark the holy month of Ramadan, the initiative also helps alleviate the economic pressures often faced by low-income families during this period. Through the well-established YCAB Foundation, recipients are carefully selected so that aid is distributed directly and targeted to 100 families in East Jakarta.
Through this collaboration, we are not only distributing essentials but also emphasising that no one should be marginalised, especially during Ramadan, a period rooted in care and shared responsibility. “With partners like VT Markets, we reach families in need at the right moment while also providing support for them to move forward,” said Samantha Susilo, Chief of Party, YCAB Foundation.
On 27 February 2026, VT Markets volunteers and YCAB Foundation staff went on-site to distribute essential food parcels. The aid package contained rice, cooking oil, sugar, and other daily necessities, which helped ease short-term financial burdens and allowed families to observe Ramadan more peacefully.
“Ramadan reminds us that positive impact begins with shared responsibility,” said Dandelyn Koh, Head of Global Marketing, VT Markets. “Through the partnership with YCAB Foundation, we are helping families in need at this important moment. We also thank our partners and clients for the continued trust that makes such initiatives possible.”
The success of the programme underscores VT Markets’ commitment to corporate social responsibility in Indonesia. In addition to its role in the financial sector, VT Markets continues to invest in various community programmes that promote social resilience, strengthen relations with local communities, and deliver tangible social impact.
As VT Markets expands regionally, meaningful social activity remains a key component of the company’s long-term goals to not only broaden its presence but also translate commitments into concrete actions for society.
