Volkswagen Inaugurates New 3S Showroom in Jakarta
JAKARTA – PT Garuda Mataram Motor, as Volkswagen’s brand distributor in Indonesia, officially inaugurated a new 3S showroom (Sales, Spare Parts, Service) in the TB Simatupang area of South Jakarta on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.
The opening of this facility represents Volkswagen’s efforts to strengthen its service network whilst providing easier and more integrated access for customers in South Jakarta and surrounding areas.
Volkswagen Indonesia Chief Operating Officer Edo Januarko Chandra stated that the showroom is expected to bring the Volkswagen brand closer to consumers in South Jakarta.
“Through the TB Simatupang showroom, we want to get closer to customers in South Jakarta and its surroundings. Now residents in South Jakarta and surrounding areas can easily access all Volkswagen product lines and services in one modern and comfortable destination,” Edo said.
The showroom features Volkswagen’s signature modern and minimalist open-space design concept, allowing visitors to freely view and explore the product line marketed in Indonesia.
Featured models include the all-electric ID. Buzz EV van, the seven-seater Tiguan Allspace SUV, and the compact T-Cross SUV.
Beyond sales focus, the facility includes a comfortable waiting area and a heritage corner showcasing Volkswagen’s journey from the iconic VW Kombi to its transformation towards electric mobility through the ID. Buzz.
Following the 3S concept, the facility is equipped with a service area featuring multiple working bays, certified technicians, and globally standard diagnostic equipment. The availability of genuine Volkswagen spare parts at this location is expected to make vehicle maintenance and repair processes more precise and efficient.
Additionally, there is a private consultation space allowing customers to discuss more comfortably with sales advisors.
“Beyond presenting up to eight vehicles so customers can see our product line more completely, we also want this showroom to feel comfortable to enjoy. Visitors can sit back, experience the atmosphere, whilst seeing how Volkswagen’s journey has developed from the VW Kombi that is so close to many people’s hearts to its transformation into the electric era through the ID. Buzz,” Edo concluded.
Indomobil Dealership Group CEO Santiko Wardoyo stated that the showroom opening is part of efforts to strengthen Volkswagen’s service network in Indonesia.
“The opening of the TB Simatupang Volkswagen showroom is part of our effort to continue strengthening Volkswagen’s service network in Indonesia. Through the integrated 3S facility at this location, customers can not only get to know Volkswagen products more closely but also receive comprehensive and trustworthy after-sales service support in one place,” Santiko said.
Coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, Volkswagen Indonesia also held a joint iftar breaking of the fast with the Asrama Asuh Dompet Yatim dan Dhuafa Lebak Bulus foundation at the showroom location. On that occasion, the company also provided assistance to children at the orphanage.
The activity is expected to demonstrate solidarity and show that Volkswagen’s presence in the area is not only focused on customer service but also wants to walk alongside the local community.
With the opening of this showroom, Volkswagen’s service network in South Jakarta is expected to strengthen whilst making it easier for customers to access products and after-sales services in one location.
