vivo X500E certification suggests launch is getting closer
Jakarta (ANTARA) — vivo recently unveiled three flagship phones in its X500 series in China: the vivo X500, vivo X500 Pro and vivo X500 Pro Max. The series is expected to make its global debut soon.
The global line-up may also gain a new model, the vivo X500E, which has recently received certification.
Gizmochina reported on Saturday local time that the vivo X500E, with model number V2656, had been certified by the Bluetooth SIG authority.
The listing has not disclosed any specifications for the vivo X500E, but it is an important indication that the X500 series may not take long to reach global markets.
As for possible specifications, circulating rumours suggest the vivo X500E will feature a 6.59-inch (16.74 cm) OLED display with 1.5K resolution.
Like the vivo X500, the X500E may have a camera module in the top-left corner.
However, unlike the vivo X500’s circular camera arrangement, the X500E is expected to have a square camera module housing a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor, an ultra-wide camera and a Sony IMX8-series periscope telephoto camera.
The phone could launch shortly afterwards or before the end of 2026.
