vivo Watch 6 released, featuring sapphire crystal display

Technology brand vivo, alongside the X500 series smartphones and clip-on earbuds, has released a new smartwatch named the vivo Watch 6.

The smartwatch features a sapphire crystal coating for its display and promises a battery life of up to 21 days for light usage, 6 days in Always-On Display mode, and four days when connected via eSIM.

According to GSM Arena, the watch is available in two casing material options: titanium and stainless steel.

The device comes in a single 45mm size, featuring a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466x466. Due to its high peak brightness, the watch is suitable for outdoor use as it maintains clear visibility.

Regarding other features, the smartwatch is equipped with heart rate and blood oxygen sensors. It also includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, barometer, light sensor, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, dual-frequency GPS, a microphone, and a speaker.

To ensure optimal performance, vivo has integrated its exclusive BlueOS 4.0 operating system.

The stainless steel model is available in two colours, Wilderness and Moonlight, priced at 999 Yuan (approximately Rp2.6 million) without cellular data support, while the version with cellular data support is priced at 1,399 Yuan (approximately Rp3.7 million).

The titanium model is only available with cellular data support and is priced at 1,999 Yuan (approximately Rp5.3 million).

At present, the smartwatch is limited to the Chinese market, and there is no confirmation yet as to whether it will be launched globally.
