Vivo is preparing to launch the vivo S60 series in China, and promotional material ahead of its debut is beginning to circulate, including details about the battery of the smartphone. The information comes from Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao, who shared several images revealing some of the key specifications of the vivo S60 line. Quoting Gizmochina on Monday 18 May, the images shared by Han Boxiao indicate that the smartphone will feature a flat display design. Vivo claims that the in-display fingerprint sensor can unlock the phone in as little as 0.1 seconds, while storing fingerprint data is said to take around 1 second. For the battery, the vivo S60 series will be equipped with a 7200 mAh battery paired with 90 W fast charging. Some other images circulating on Chinese social media platforms showed a rear configuration with a triple-camera setup. Previous reports indicated that one of these cameras is a periscope telephoto camera with a Sony IMX8-series sensor. The latest leaks suggest that the vivo S60 may have an OLED 6.59-inch (16.74 cm) display with 1.5K resolution support. Regarding the phone’s processor, it is expected to use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. Another report suggests the phone will come with magnetic accessories and will be released in multiple colours, including pink.
