Visually impaired individuals participated in braille Quran recitation at the Unit for Social Rehabilitation for the Blind (UPT Rehabilitasi Sosial Bina Netra/RSBN) operated by the East Java Provincial Government on Monday, 2 March 2026.

The activity, held following the Asr prayer, formed part of the Firdaus Ramadhan programme series, which engaged 105 participants in collaborative Quran recitation throughout the fasting month. The initiative aims to strengthen faith, foster independence, and deepen spiritual awareness among people with visual disabilities.

The programme represents a meaningful approach to ensuring that individuals with visual impairments can participate fully in Ramadhan observances, utilising braille texts to facilitate equal access to Quranic study during the Islamic holy month.
