Visitors can also enjoy several locations such as the Plaza Seremoni area, PSSI, Embung MBH, Glamping IKN, Sepaku Semoi Dam, Plaza Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, and Taman Kusuma Bangsa.
Nusantara (ANTARA) - The number of visitors to the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) on H+2 Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah (Sunday, 23 March 2026) was notably high, reaching 62,500 people, to enjoy a number of areas and public spaces opened as part of the visitor experience.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, 24 March to Sunday, 29 March, which are still holidays, the number of visitors will continue to be in the thousands per day, allowing the public to directly view several areas such as the State Palace, office areas, and others.
“Visitors can also enjoy several locations such as the Plaza Seremoni area, PSSI, Embung MBH, Glamping IKN, Sepaku Semoi Dam, Plaza Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, and Taman Kusuma Bangsa,” said Special Staff to the Head of the IKN Authority for Public Communications and Spokesperson for the IKN Authority, Troy Pantouw, in Nusantara on Tuesday.
The State Mosque and various tourist destinations around IKN can also serve as alternative destinations that can be visited with certain capacity arrangements.
The authority also conveyed several appeals to the public to maintain order, cleanliness, and collective comfort during the long holiday period in the Core Government Central Area (KIPP) Nusantara, including at the IKN State Mosque.
This includes the use of reusable bags as a place to store shoes or sandals before entering the main mosque area. This step is part of efforts to maintain the cleanliness of the worship area while reducing the use of single-use plastics in the Nusantara area.
In addition, this appeal is also part of anticipating the increase in the number of visitors coming to worship or enjoy the beauty of the IKN State Mosque during the long holiday period.
“The use of reusable bags to store footwear is a small step that can have a big impact. We invite all visitors to help maintain cleanliness and support the sustainability principles implemented in IKN,” said Troy.
