Visiting Jokowi's Home in Solo, Budi Arie Comments on Rismon to the 'Wailing Wall'

Chairman of Projo, Budi Arie Setiadi, visited the residence of Indonesia’s 7th President Joko Widodo in Solo on Wednesday (25/3/2026).

During the occasion, Budi responded to the change in stance by Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar regarding the previous polemic over Rismon’s diploma, where he had claimed Jokowi’s diploma was fake, but later acknowledged its authenticity and met directly to offer an apology.

Budi Arie affirmed his full support for any steps Jokowi will take regarding the matter. Projo’s stance, he said, will continue to follow Jokowi’s guidance, including if legal action is pursued.

“We support whatever decision Pak Jokowi makes (regarding Rismon). Even though legally there are considerations, our stance always follows Pak Jokowi’s direction,” said Budi Arie to the media when met at Jokowi’s residence in Solo on Wednesday (25/3/2026).

He explained that his visit to Jokowi’s residence in Sumber Ward, Banjarsari Subdistrict, Solo City, was for maintaining ties as well as reporting on the organisation’s future agenda.
