Visit Novotel Lampung: Unique Gold Bars Available to be Broken into Pieces
Bandar Lampung, CNBC Indonesia - There is a unique feature at the Lampung Financial Festival currently taking place at Novotel Lampung. During this event, visitors can find gold bar products that can be broken into smaller pieces.
This product is known as ‘KitKat Gold’ from Raja Emas Indonesia. Unlike conventional gold bars, this gold is designed with separation lines so that it can be broken by hand.
Ajeng Nur Baetty, Product Marketing Supervisor at Raja Elas, stated that the company brought various gold products to the event, ranging from precious metals weighing 0.1 grams to 100 grams. However, one product specifically introduced during the festival is KitKat Gold.
“There is also KitKat Gold that can be broken into pieces,” said Ajeng at the Raja Emas booth in Novotel Lampung on Sunday (6/9/2026).
KitKat Gold is available in a 20-gram size. The gold can be broken into 20 pieces, each weighing 1 gram. “So, from the 20 grams, you can break it down into 1-gram pieces,” she explained.
Although it can be separated into small pieces, KitKat Gold must be purchased as a whole unit. Consumers purchase one 20-gram product and can then break it according to their needs.
According to Ajeng, this concept provides flexibility for gold owners to distribute gold pieces to others, for example, as gifts.
To obtain one 20-gram KitKat Gold, visitors need to spend approximately Rp52.6 million. Ajeng noted that this price is equivalent to about Rp2.6 million per gram. She added that purchasing 20 grams at once makes the price per gram cheaper compared to buying 1-gram pieces separately.
Furthermore, Raja Emas precious metals feature a very thin buyback spread of only 4%. This means that the larger the weight purchased, the smaller the percentage difference between the purchase price and the buyback price, thereby optimising the potential profit from gold price increases.
Ajeng added that KitKat Gold is a product specifically introduced by Raja Emas during the Lampung Financial Festival. According to her, this concept is unique to Raja Emas in Indonesia. “This is the only one in Indonesia. Only our brand, Raja Emas, has this,” she concluded.
For students and university students attending the Lampung Financial Festival, Raja Emas is attempting to instil investment education as early as possible. The hope is that once they have an income, they will understand the importance of investing, particularly in gold, which carries relatively low risk, and can share this knowledge with their parents.
The Lampung Financial Festival 2026 has entered its second day, featuring engaging discussions. In addition to gaining insights into finance, investment, and business, participants can also enjoy entertainment ranging from musical performances to stand-up comedy.
