Visinema Studios Releases New Nussa Story Titled Rain to Celebrate Ramadan 2026
Entering the momentum of Ramadan 2026, Visinema Studios continues to delight Indonesian families and loyal fans of the Nussa animated series. This year, Nussa features a new chapter through the release of a new story titled “Rain” (Hujan), which prioritises a warm musical approach.
Since its inception, Nussa has become an iconic animation character closely associated with positive values for children. Visinema’s decision to release new content during this sacred month is part of efforts to maintain the character’s presence in the digital realm whilst delivering moral messages relevant to daily life.
Group President & Chief Executive Officer of Visinema Studios, Herry B Salim, explained that consistency is the key to presenting Nussa to the public. “Since 2024, we have maintained Nussa’s consistent presence in digital spaces. During this Ramadan, we want to offer not just new stories, but also an experience that is closer and more real for Indonesian families,” Herry stated in an official announcement on Friday.
The story “Rain,” available through the official Nussa YouTube channel, highlights adventures featuring Nussa, Rarra, and their friends. They invite viewers to learn to be grateful for the natural phenomenon of rain as a blessing for mankind.
Beyond the “Rain” story, Visinema is committed to presenting a series of fresh stories throughout Ramadan. The straightforward yet profound storytelling approach has become the primary focus for the animation development team. Head of Animation Development at Visinema Studios, Ryan Adriandhy, added that the selection of themes this season was based on emotional resonance.
“This season’s Ramadan stories are designed to be simple, close to everyday life, yet possessing emotional depth that both children and parents can feel,” Ryan stated.
In addition to digital presence, Visinema Studios is bringing the characters Nussa and Rarra closer to fans through offline activation. Under the theme “Nussa Rarra Ramadan: Blessing of Smiles and Greetings,” this direct interaction will be held at the Kids Atrium of Supermal Karawaci, Tangerang, until 29 March 2026.
The activities include various interactive programmes specially designed for families, including Meet and Greet sessions every weekend. Head of Production at Visinema Studios, Novia Puspa Sari, hopes this physical presence will create wonderful memories for visitors.
“We want to create a space that is both enjoyable and meaningful, where families can celebrate Ramadan in a warmer and more interactive way,” explained Novia.
Through a combination of educational digital content and direct interaction in public spaces, Nussa reaffirms its position as an original Indonesian intellectual property that not only entertains but also continues to share warm values in family life.
