Visa Mandiri terrorizes

This past month, we have been greatly disturbed by telephone
calls from Visa Mandiri debt collectors although we have
explained to them time and again that the person they are looking
for no longer stays with us. This person, without our knowledge,
used our address when applying for a Visa Mandiri card.
Unfortunately, the callers have always responded rudely to our
explanation and even used rude words when our children have
answered the phone. In fact, we have also given them this
person's cellular phone number.

Our question is why we must be responsible for this Visa
Mandiri claim? Why didn't Bank Mandiri do a proper credit
analysis of this person in the first place when he applied for
the card? Obviously, he does not have a residential identity card
if he is using our home address. Besides, we have never made a
letter certifying that he lives in our house. So, why have we
become the victims?

Please, Bank Mandiri, your attention is sorely needed.
