A viral video narrated by a teacher showcases the shoes of students at SD Negeri 2 Nainggolan in Samosir Regency, many of which are unfit for use. The Samosir Regency government has spoken out regarding the issue. In the video, as reported by detikSumut on Thursday (23/4/2026), the teacher points out the condition of the students’ shoes. The students’ shoes are seen to be holey at the soles and at the toes for others. Additionally, the students’ uniforms appear shabby. The primary school students’ ties are also seen to be stretched out and no longer fit for use. The video mentions that the children continue to study despite their limitations. Relevant parties are urged to assist and pay attention to the students’ needs in the future. The Head of the Samosir Communication and Informatics Office, Immanuel TP Sitanggang, has not yet provided more detailed information regarding the video.
