A video circulating on social media depicts three-axle trucks escorted by rogue TNI members on a toll road. Several trucks in the convoy were subsequently acted upon by the police.

In the video, several heavy-load three-axle trucks carrying containers are seen passing through the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) toll road lanes. The incident is narrated as occurring in Telukjambe Subdistrict, Karawang Regency, on Wednesday (18/3/2026) around 17:00 WIB.

Initially, several heavy-load vehicles are seen traversing the toll road. The trucks were then approached by police officers who requested that the trucks exit the toll road.

“Get out, get out,” says one of the officers in the video.

Shortly after, the video focuses on a man in TNI uniform. The alleged TNI member is suspected of escorting the trucks.

“Bro, just get out,” the police officer says to the uniformed TNI member.

“Bro, just to Karawang, bro, to Karawang,” the TNI member replies.

“Get out, get out, get out,” the police officer insists.

The police officer then turns to the trailer truck driver. He instructs the driver to direct the vehicle to the toll exit lane.

“This is the zebra one I meant, the large group continues to be removed,” the officer says.

“Come on, you’re already wrong, you can’t do this under the SKB. The driver is being stubborn. Come on, get out. Come on, sir, get out,” the officer adds.

In response, the Head of Public Relations for Polda Jawa Barat, Hendra Rochmawan, assured that the trucks were still handled according to the rules. Despite initial resistance from the drivers and the presence of an escort, the heavy vehicles were removed from the toll road.

“However, besides the enforcement issue, the stubbornness of these three-axle trucks involves entrepreneurs, truck drivers, and tronton, some of which are escorted by rogue TNI members. But for the sake of smooth traffic and protection for mudik travellers and the firmness of officers in the field, these rogue TNI members cannot commit violations,” said Hendra, as quoted by detikJabar on Thursday (19/3/2026).

During the mudik traffic monitoring period, the police are indeed tightening enforcement against large-tonnage goods transport vehicles. Based on data from the Traffic Directorate of Polda Jawa Barat, more than 1,700 trucks and containers have been ticketed for violating operational restriction rules.
