Viral Video of Central Jakarta District Court Integrated Service Counter Officer Allegedly Playing Game While on Duty

Jakarta — A video circulating on social media on Wednesday (18 March 2026) shows a female officer at the Integrated Service Counter (PTSP) of the Central Jakarta District Court allegedly playing games whilst on duty. The video, uploaded by the Threads account @aishsholihah, shows the service counter in operation with several visitors seated in the waiting area. One female officer at the counter appears intently focused on a computer screen; however, the monitor is dual-sided, making the screen display visible to the public.

The account @aishsholihah added a caption suggesting the officer may have forgotten that the screen was two-way: “Perhaps because of fasting, she forgot the screen is two-way. Forgot to turn off the front display.”

The post garnered over 15,000 likes and approximately 1,600 comments from social media users, with many expressing disappointment at the officer’s apparent inability to distinguish between working hours and leisure time.

Andi Saputra, spokesperson for the Central Jakarta District Court, stated that the court has responded swiftly by tracing the source of the circulating video. “We have quickly confirmed and investigated the matter regarding the video. We have traced the source, and it turns out the netizen reposted it from a TikTok feed,” Andi said when contacted by Kompas.com on Wednesday.

According to Andi, the court is continuing to coordinate internally to verify the authenticity of the video, including the timing of the incident and the identity of the officer in the recording. He noted that the investigation is proceeding despite some staff being on leave for the Eid holiday.

The Central Jakarta District Court has promised to publicly release the findings of the investigation once the verification process is complete.
