Viral Video Allegedly Shows Two Airlangga University Students in Indecent Act on Campus

Social media users have been stirred by a video allegedly showing two university students engaging in inappropriate behaviour inside a campus classroom. In the video uploaded to X by the account @naerovia, a female student wearing a hijab is seen sitting on the lap of a male student in a white shirt. The two appear to embrace and kiss intimately.

The female student, wearing a black headscarf, immediately stood up after a banging sound was heard. Afterwards, the pair briefly conversed. However, shortly thereafter, the male student in the white shirt again embraced his female peer and brought his face close to her body. From the circulating recording, the two are suspected of resuming actions deemed inappropriate within a university environment.

Their actions finally ceased when the female student turned around and realised someone was recording. Not long after, the person filming approached them.

‘Hayo… hayo..hayo. Ngapaian hemmm,’ said the recorder, as quoted on Thursday, 18 June 2026.

The male student in the white shirt appeared startled and questioned the recorder’s actions. ‘Why are you videoing me, sir? Please don’t video me, sir,’ said the male student.

‘Whatever, it’s my phone,’ the recorder replied.

‘I mean, I’m asking for your help, sir,’ the student said.

The post immediately drew sharp criticism from X users. ‘Disgusting. What is this, in a classroom?! It’s a place for learning, for goodness’ sake. How could they even think of doing that, so weird,’ a netizen commented.

‘Why didn’t you startle them? How did they not realise you were there,’ another commented.

‘Is this kind of thing being normalised, just left alone???’ a netizen sneered.

Based on information gathered, the incident reportedly occurred at Airlangga University (Unair) in Surabaya. The event, which took place last week, involved two students from the campus. Currently, the university has taken steps to address the matter and is following up on the case according to applicable procedures.
