He claims his name is Suharman and identifies himself as the alleged perpetrator. He also apologises to the victims and fellow students, stating that he will not repeat his actions.

In another post, it is mentioned that the man portrayed himself as a religious person and took relationships seriously. The number of victims is said to be more than 11 people. It is also stated that the victims knew the alleged perpetrator from campus, social media, and dating apps.

The university has responded when asked for confirmation, the Director of Media Networking, Community, and Public Communication at Undip, Nurul Hasfi, confirmed the existence of the case.

“Yes, it’s true, and there has been a report,” said Nurul to detikJateng via text message today.

Undip received the report regarding the case on April 24, 2026, and is currently processing it.

“The university received the report on April 24, 2026, and is currently following up according to the applicable mechanisms through the authorised parties within the campus environment, namely the Task Force for Prevention and Handling of Violence in Higher Education (Satgas PPKPT) and the Ethics Committee,” said Nurul.

Undip affirmed that it will follow up on the report and prevent similar incidents from happening on campus.

“Diponegoro University expresses its concern regarding the circulating news about the alleged case of sexual violence. Undip is committed to handling every report seriously and in accordance with applicable regulations, and continues to strengthen prevention efforts so that similar cases do not occur in the campus environment,” she added.
