Viral: Teenage Boy Allegedly Molested by Man in Bogor Using Fake Address Inquiry as Pretext

Social media posts have been circulating regarding a 13-year-old boy who became a victim of sexual harassment by a man in Cibungungbulang, Bogor, West Java. The perpetrator reportedly pretended to ask the victim for an address.

According to posts viewed on Saturday (19/09/2026), the incident is said to have occurred on Wednesday, 16 September 2026. The suspect and the victim were captured on CCTV riding together on a motorcycle.

It is narrated that the teenager was initially approached by the perpetrator, who asked for an address. The perpetrator then persuaded the victim to ride along on the motorcycle.

While on the motorcycle, the perpetrator allegedly began harassing the victim. It is further reported that the perpetrator then took the victim to a secluded location to commit the assault.

Confirming the incident, the Head of the PPA and PPO Unit of the Bogor Police, AKP Silfi Adi Putri, stated that the victim’s family has reported the incident to the police. The authorities are currently conducting an investigation.

“A police report (LP) was only filed yesterday; yes, it is still under investigation,” said Silfi.

Meanwhile, the police are still working to identify the suspect, as the victim does not know or recognise the perpetrator.

“The victim does not know who the reported individual is, which is why the suspect is still being investigated. Yes, the perpetrator is still being identified,” she concluded.
