A school principal with the initials SK has gone viral after allegedly making an indecent comment on a social media post. The head of a primary school in Melaya Subdistrict, Jembrana Regency, Bali, claimed it was a typing error or typo.

SK is known to have commented ‘lolok’ on a post by Instagram content creator @sitihajarhumairoh. In Balinese, ‘lolok’ means male genitalia.

“Siti, why do you like lolok?” wrote SK using the Instagram account @pakkmt in the comments section of one of Siti’s posts. SK’s comment was perceived as harassment.

Siti expressed regret over the principal’s comment by uploading a video. Siti asked SK to be more wise when commenting on social media. The owner of the Instagram account with 63,000 followers believes SK commented while fully conscious.

“I hope your daughter doesn’t experience things like what you did to me,” Siti stated in the video.

“I am sure you commented while conscious,” said Siti.

The Jembrana Regency Education, Youth, and Sports Office (Disdikpora) has summoned SK on Wednesday (25/3). Disdikpora Jembrana also issued a verbal reprimand to the principal.

“We have summoned the individual yesterday for clarification and guidance. In that meeting, we issued a verbal reprimand so that similar incidents do not recur,” said the Head of Disdikpora Jembrana, I Gusti Putu Anom Saputra, when confirmed by detikBali on Thursday (26/3/2026).

Typing Error Claim: ‘Loloh’ Becomes ‘Lolok’

Based on the clarification process, SK admitted that the comment came from his personal account. However, SK claimed that the word ‘lolok’ in question was purely a typing mistake or typo.

According to Anom, SK claimed he initially commented on Siti’s post about ‘loloh’. In Balinese, loloh means traditional herbal medicine. However, due to a mis-tap, the word ‘loloh’ became ‘lolok’.

“The individual stated it was a typing error because the post was actually meant to say ‘loloh’, nothing else. He has also expressed apologies for the mistake and made a statement letter,” added Anom.

Nevertheless, Disdikpora Jembrana still issued a sanction in the form of a written reprimand to SK. Anom encouraged SK to resolve the issue amicably with Siti, who felt harmed.

After meeting with Disdikpora, SK was then directed to the Jembrana Regency Inspectorate office. SK underwent further examination regarding the discipline of Civil Servants (ASN).

“Today, the individual was also called by the Inspectorate. We want to ensure this issue is resolved and does not set a bad precedent for education in Jembrana,” said Anom.

It is known that SK has apologised through the comments section of the video uploaded by Siti. SK emphasised that the intent of his comment was ‘loloh’, in line with the context of Siti’s post.

“Sorry Siti, this is me, I meant loloh because Siti’s post was about loloh. Once again, sorry Siti, I typed wrong. I’ve DM’ed Siti but no response yet,” wrote SK via the IG account @pakkamt.
