The scheduled departure at 07:23 WIB was only possible at 07:25 WIB. “We condemn the passenger’s action of holding the train door because, besides violating the rules, this action also has great potential to damage facilities and impacts hundreds of other passengers due to departure delays,” said Eva in her statement on Thursday (9/4/2026). The Whoosh high-speed train has also prepared a lost item handling service that can be used if passengers lose items inside the train or station area. So, how to handle it if there are lost items? Whoosh’s Lost and Found Service Referring to KCIC’s official press release, the Whoosh high-speed train provides a lost and found service to assist passengers who lose or leave items during the journey. KCIC explained that passengers who lose items can immediately report to on-site officers or through official customer service. Found items will be secured and recorded so they can be returned to their owners according to applicable procedures. Officers will inspect the entire train consist before departure to the destination station to ensure no items are left behind. Passengers can also report lost items through: - Customer Service at the station - KCIC Contact Center via 150909 - WhatsApp chat to 0811-8888-111 - Email to cs@kcic.co.id - DM to Instagram @keretacepat_id. Lost items will later be stored at the service counter at the final station and announced by lost and found personnel. The items will be stored for up to 90 days, and if the time limit is exceeded, they will be handled according to applicable provisions. With the lost and found service at Whoosh, passengers are expected to still keep their belongings during the journey and immediately report if they experience loss. This step is taken to ensure that lost items can be handled quickly and the train journey remains orderly and safe.
