The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has temporarily halted operations of the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) in Cimahi owned by Hendrik Irawan. Hendrik previously went viral on social media for dancing without using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). He also showcased profits from the programme amounting to Rp 6 million per day. BGN Head Dadan Hindayana stated that Hendrik’s SPPG has been suspended until facility improvements are completed. “It has been temporarily halted until facility improvements are made,” he said when contacted on Wednesday, 25 March 2026. Dadan added that BGN had reprimanded Hendrik for his actions. Hendrik was also asked to issue a public apology to the public. Hendrik has already apologised publicly via his personal Instagram account @hendrikirawan_d1213mbg on Tuesday, 24 March 2026. He apologised to President Prabowo Subianto for causing a commotion. He stated that the Rp 6 million incentive is part of the operational scheme regulated in the technical guidelines by the National Nutrition Agency. He claimed that the construction of his SPPG kitchen from scratch used personal funds. “We built the kitchen of nearly 1,000 square metres, all from personal money, not from the government,” he said. Hendrik claimed to have spent around Rp 3.5 billion to build the SPPG kitchen. “Up to now, we haven’t broken even yet. That incentive is not just for my kitchen, but applies to all SPPG,” he said.
