Viral Man 'Dancing for MBG Profits of Rp 6 Million' Apologises to Prabowo, Here's What He Said
The man who went viral for dancing in a Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) has been reprimanded, and his SPPG kitchen has been suspended by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). The man has now issued an apology. From investigations, the man is an MBG partner from Batujajar, West Bandung Regency (KBB). In the video, the man was dancing to music inside an SPPG office. Behind him, several workers were packing food packages, likely MBG menus that would be distributed to beneficiaries. The video went viral after being reposted by other accounts. Netizens criticised the MBG partner’s dancing antics and his response boasting about daily earnings of Rp 6 million from the programme. detikJabar attempted to confirm via WhatsApp messages and phone calls regarding the viral video but has yet to receive a response from the individual. However, in his latest video, Hendrik Irawan uploaded an apology for his bizarre actions. He apologised to netizens amid the widespread backlash over his viral dancing. “I, Hendrik Irawan, apologise to the netizens. I don’t mind being criticised every day, and I had no intention of disrespecting the programme of President Prabowo Subianto,” Hendrik said in his post. In another video, he also addressed the Rp 6 million profit he receives daily. That Rp 6 million profit is actually an incentive he receives from President Prabowo Subianto. “So that’s not from the children’s MBG allocation, but an incentive from Mr Prabowo Subianto because I built this SPPG kitchen using my own money. I didn’t build this SPPG using government funds,” Hendrik said. He also apologised to President Prabowo Subianto, who initiated the programme. “I also want to apologise to Mr President as the symbol of the state and the highest leader,” Hendrik stated.
