Viral: Husband Caught Cheating Thanks to a Smart Scale — Here’s How
A woman claims she discovered her husband’s alleged infidelity after checking the data history on the smart scale in their home. The story went viral after a Reddit user named ‘throw-Doubt303’ posted it. In her post, she says she found two mysterious records while she was away from the house. ‘I checked the digital scale memory out of curiosity and found two unidentified weigh-ins at 120 pounds (54 kilograms), recorded at 00:15 and 00:26 in sequence,’ she wrote. She explains that the weight was not hers; at the time the data was logged, only her husband was at home. ‘As context, my weight is not 120 pounds and I wasn’t there on that date, only my husband,’ she continued. The woman also reveals that she and her husband were in a period of separation due to a previous affair. Nevertheless, they were said to have agreed to try to repair their marriage. ‘We want to improve ourselves to build a better foundation for our marriage,’ she said in the comments. However, she emphasised that their agreement was not to meet other people during that period, especially not to bring someone else to the family home. ‘Our agreement is NOT to meet other people, let alone at the family home,’ she wrote again. The post was then widely commented on by other Reddit users. Many supported the woman and saw the findings on the smart scale as strong evidence of another person in the husband’s home. ‘This could be a closing chapter to truly end the separation. Now you can rest easy knowing this decision is true,’ wrote one user. Another advised her to consult a lawyer immediately without informing her husband of the finding. ‘There is a strong possibility he has brought someone into the house. A 120-pound weight at midnight doesn’t feel like a male friend,’ another comment said. Although some comments suggested the woman had trust issues for checking the scale data, the majority urged her to stop tormenting herself and leave her husband as soon as possible. ‘You already know he’s a cheater. Why do you need more proof that he is a bad person? That isn’t good for your mental health,’ wrote a Reddit user.
