Viral Dancing Man in Kitchen Owns 7 SPPG Units, BGN: This Is Not a Business!
The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has disclosed that the man who went viral for dancing in the kitchen of a Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) facility actually possesses seven SPPG units. BGN Deputy Head Nanik Sudaryati Deyang reminded that owning SPPG units is not a business project.
“So I recall, he has seven kitchens, seven points. But only one is running, the one that’s already started. The others aren’t yet operational,” Nanik told reporters on Tuesday (24/3/2026).
“This is not a business. This is a government programme to educate children. It shouldn’t be done like that,” she added.
Nanik confirmed that her agency has temporarily suspended (suspended) the one SPPG unit owned by the man after discovering it did not comply with technical guidelines (juknis). Meanwhile, the other six SPPG units owned by him are not yet operational and will be closely monitored by BGN from establishment through to implementation.
“This, I don’t know about him either, but the one that’s running is just one. The other six, we’ll monitor,” Nanik said.
“(The reason for suspension) Wrong layout. There are technical guidelines, the layout, for example, the kitchen must be like this. Meaning, there are guidelines. Well, the layout was wrong,” she explained.
Nanik expressed regret over the man’s act of dancing inside the MBG kitchen without personal protective equipment (APD), which sparked widespread public discussion. She then reminded all SPPG owners not to engage in similar behaviour.
“I don’t like it either, him making content inside the kitchen without wearing APD; that’s wrong too. Yes, for the learning of others. No need for strange partners,” Nanik said.
It is known that the man went viral after dancing in an SPPG and narrating his income of Rp 6 million per day. The video drew significant public reactions.
As seen by detikcom in the viral video, the man was dancing to music inside a room. That room displayed the BGN logo.
Meanwhile, in another viral video, the man was seen dancing inside the MBG kitchen. He was not wearing APD, while the SPPI staff appeared fully equipped with APD as they prepared MBG meals.
