Viral Confession of Indonesian Migrant Workers Forced to Service 15 Men a Day in Saudi Arabia
The confession of two female Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) who claim to have been forced to service up to 15 men every day in Saudi Arabia has gone viral on social media. Both are suspected to be victims of human trafficking crimes (TPPO). The video of the two PMI’s confession was uploaded by the Instagram account @bisikanneti on Wednesday (29/4). In the recording, they state that they were forced by their employer to service dozens of lecherous men every day. “So in a month, I have to service 450 men. If I don’t meet the target, I don’t get paid,” said the woman in a fearful tone, as seen by detikBali from the viral video on Monday (4/5/2026). In their confession, the victims say they travelled to Saudi Arabia after being enticed with job offers by a field worker with the initials N, a woman. Upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, they met a woman with the initials Z. “So N enticed us via WA to work in Saudi Arabia. But we met Z. There, we were held captive to service men. But we managed to escape while shopping at one of the malls,” said the woman as in the video viewed by detikBali. The Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) of NTB, Aidy Furqon, said his office has not yet been able to confirm whether the two PMI are residents of NTB. The NTB Provincial Government is still coordinating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu) and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Saudi Arabia to confirm the victims’ identities. “It’s been a week since we contacted Kemenlu and the Embassy, there has been no confirmation regarding the information in the video. We also tried to contact the person who took the video, but they can no longer be reached,” he said on Monday (4/5/2026). Aidy added that his office continues to communicate with Kemenlu to ensure the condition of the two victims is safe. “If they are our PMI, hopefully they are okay, because we haven’t received any updates,” Aidy emphasised.
