Viral Case of Woman Raped by Father and Uncles in Bekasi, Police Investigate

A social media post has gone viral narrating the case of a 21-year-old woman who was allegedly raped in Kabupaten Bekasi, West Java. The perpetrators are suspected to be her own biological father and two of her uncles. The post circulating on social media states that the incident occurred over a period of nine years, beginning when the victim was 13 years old. It was mentioned that the victim has been evacuated to a safe house for the time being and is receiving assistance. The case has now been reported to the police. When confirmed, Head of Public Relations of the Metro Bekasi Police, AKP Aliyani, stated that her party has followed up on the incident and is currently conducting an investigation. ‘It is still under investigation,’ said AKP Aliyani on Thursday (16/7/2026). Aliyani said the victim’s report has been received by investigators, while the process of examining witnesses is ongoing. ‘That is correct (the report has been received and witness examinations are underway),’ she said. Meanwhile, the suspected perpetrators are still being pursued by the police. ‘Not yet (examined), they are still being pursued,’ she concluded.
