Viral Altercation Between Ride-Hailing Driver and Illegal Parking Attendant in Pamulang, Police Mediate

A video of an altercation between an online motorcycle taxi (ojol) driver and an illegal parking attendant in Pamulang, South Tangerang (Tangsel), has circulated on social media. The two exchanged heated words due to the dispute. In the video viewed on Monday (13/4/2026), the altercation is narrated as occurring because the ojol driver was not wearing his uniform when collecting a food order. The ojol driver claimed his motorcycle was struck. The ojol driver explained that his jacket uniform was being washed. As a result, the altercation led to an unavoidable verbal confrontation between the two. When confirmed, Pamulang Police Chief AKP Galuh Febri Saputra confirmed the incident. The event took place on Sunday (12/4) night. “Pamulang Police Station received a report of a misunderstanding in the Pamulang Barat area. From the report, we conducted an investigation, examined witnesses, and visited the scene of the incident,” he said. Initially, the parking attendant with initials FR approached F, the ojol driver. FR then pulled the rear part of F’s motorcycle. “Then FR thought that person was a restaurant customer at the location because he was not wearing ojol attributes. Whereas brother F is an ojol driver,” he explained. A misunderstanding then occurred between the two. His side then facilitated a meeting between both parties for mediation. “They finally agreed to make peace and not proceed with the incident to the legal realm,” he concluded.
