Jakarta (ANTARA) - VinFast Indonesia’s CEO, Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto, stated that the company is still conducting an investigation into the accident involving the Vietnamese electric car Green SM Indonesia with a train in the Bekasi Timur Station area, West Java, on Monday night (27/4/2026). “The investigation is still ongoing, so we cannot provide technical details at this time,” said Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto when confirmed by ANTARA in Jakarta on Tuesday. According to him, the company always prioritises safety, which is the main foundation for their partners. Therefore, they continue to provide education to VinFast vehicle users in the country. For additional information, the online transportation service company Green SM uses variants of electric vehicles produced by VinFast. Previously, the Vietnam-based electric transportation service company had spoken out regarding the accident involving one of their vehicles with a passing train at a railway crossing near Bekasi Timur Station on Monday (27/4) night. In a written statement shared on the company’s official Instagram account @id.greensm on Tuesday, Green SM Indonesia stated that the company has provided relevant information to the authorities regarding the accident incident. “We have provided relevant information to the authorities and fully support the ongoing investigation process,” said the Vietnamese electric taxi company. The company reaffirmed its commitment to implementing safety standards to ensure the safety of service users and the general public. “Safety remains our top priority.
