VinFast Secures 2,048 SPKs at IIMS 2026: Limo Green Most Ordered

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - VinFast has recorded a positive response from the domestic market throughout the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026, held from 5–15 February 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

During the exhibition, the company gathered 2,048 vehicle purchase orders (SPKs) from customers.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of VinFast Indonesia, Kariyanto Hardjosoemantoro, said the most-ordered model was Limo Green, followed by VF3.

He said the strong interest in Limo Green stems from the model’s seven-seat configuration and competitive pricing in the electric vehicle segment.

“Market enthusiasm for Limo Green is very strong, because there is a new seven-seat MPV option with competitive pricing,” he said.

In addition to the product, Kariyanto noted that several services offered by the company also factor into buyers’ decision-making.

Some of these include a free charging ecosystem and a battery subscription scheme that provides flexibility for users.

“What is attractive to them is our free charging ecosystem, and there is also the battery subscription option,” Kariyanto said.

He added that the scheme is considered particularly appealing for high-mobility users such as ride-hailing drivers, because they do not need to worry about battery degradation due to intensive use.

Overall, Kariyanto described market response to VinFast’s products as fairly positive. Moreover, when combined with orders placed outside the exhibition, the total SPKs for the Limo Green model have reached into the thousands.

Most of these orders will be fulfilled from the company’s manufacturing facility being prepared in the Subang area, West Java.
