VinFast Opens Pre-orders for Three Electric Motorcycles with Battery-Swapping System in Indonesia
VinFast Indonesia has officially opened pre-orders for three newly announced electric motorcycles in Indonesia: the VinFast Evo, VinFast Feliz II, and VinFast Viper. The three models come with a battery-swapping system as part of an integrated green mobility ecosystem development in the country. Pre-orders are open from 20 May to 20 June 2026 via VinFast’s official website. Consumers can also obtain information through VinFast’s customer service at 1500083.
Vo Thi Cam Tu, Managing Director of VinFast E-Motorcycles Overseas Market, said Indonesia is one of the world’s largest and most dynamic two-wheel markets. Indonesia also has significant potential in accelerating the transition to environmentally friendly vehicles.
“The simultaneous launch of three e-scooter models with a battery-swapping system reflects VinFast’s seriousness and long-term strategy to build a sustainable mobility ecosystem in Indonesia,” Vo Thi Cam Tu said in a statement on Wednesday (20 May 2026).
She added that VinFast is not only introducing electric vehicles but is also investing in charging and battery-swapping infrastructure to make it easier for consumers to switch to electric vehicles.
In the pre-order program, the VinFast Evo is priced at Rp 18.98 million under a battery-subscription scheme or Rp 26.26 million including two batteries. The VinFast Feliz II is priced at Rp 20.1 million with a subscription scheme and Rp 27.38 million including two batteries.
Meanwhile, the VinFast Viper is priced at Rp 24.41 million with the battery-subscription system or Rp 31.69 million including two batteries. Customers who place orders during the promo period will receive a discount of Rp 1.6 million. The booking fee is set at Rp 1 million and is non-refundable.
VinFast plans to deliver the first units to Indonesian customers starting June 2026.
In terms of specifications, all three models use a BLDC in-wheel motor with a maximum power of 5,200 W. The VinFast Viper and Feliz II can reach speeds of up to 90 km/h, while the Evo tops out at 80 km/h.
All three models are equipped with two 1.5 kWh LFP batteries located under the seat. When fully charged, the VinFast Evo is claimed to have a range of up to 150 kilometres, while the VinFast Viper and Feliz II reach 145 kilometres under standard conditions.
The VinFast Viper targets younger customers with a sporty design and modern technology. The model features a smart key, TFT instrument panel, projector headlamps, and dual rear shock absorbers with external reservoirs to improve ride comfort.
In addition to the battery purchase scheme, VinFast also offers a subscription service at Rp 84 thousand per month for each battery. The battery swap cost is Rp 6 thousand per battery per swap.
Through a collaboration with V-Green, VinFast is continuing to expand its network of charging and battery-swap stations in Indonesia. Customers will also receive free battery swaps for one year at V-Green Battery Swap Stations, up to a quota of 20 swaps per month.
Moreover, all VinFast e-scooters come with a vehicle warranty of up to six years or 72,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.
VinFast has previously announced the expansion of its two-wheel electric vehicle business to five priority countries: Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Thailand, and Malaysia. In addition to electric motorcycles, the company also offers electric cars, electric buses, and even electric bicycles as part of developing a sustainable transport ecosystem.
