HANOI, KOMPAS.com – VinFast has provided information regarding differences in technical specifications between the electric motorcycle version in Vietnam and the units to be marketed in Indonesia in June 2026.

The three flagship models to be marketed are Evo, Feliz II, and Viper, confirmed to have higher performance than the domestic versions in Vietnam.

This is done after VinFast conducted in-depth research on the market characteristics and geography in Indonesia.

CEO of VinFast e-Scooter Indonesia Market, Yordan Satriadi, explained that this specification adjustment is the company’s response to the real needs of consumers in Indonesia.

In addition to more responsive engine performance, other technical aspects in focus are the regenerative braking features.

Considering that many areas in Indonesia have undulating road contours or hills, VinFast ensures this feature can be adjusted through software updates.

“If the market demands stronger regenerative braking, we can set it via software. We are very attentive to market needs,” he said.

To address the challenge of range anxiety or concerns about travel distance, VinFast sets high standards for units entering Indonesia.

The three models to be launched are ensured to have a range of over 100 kilometres on a single charge or battery swap.

“For now, based on studies, the range we can offer is over 100 km. That should be sufficient for daily use in Indonesia,” Yordan concluded.

This step of enhancing specifications is expected to enable VinFast electric motorcycles not only to be viewed as environmentally friendly vehicles but also as robust ones to face various road conditions in Indonesia’s major cities.
