Vilmei's Billions in Cash Embezzled by Employee and Boyfriend Exposed
Police are investigating the alleged embezzlement of Rp 1.28 billion belonging to content creator Vilmei. The billions of rupiah were allegedly embezzled by an employee together with her boyfriend.
As is known, celebrity influencer Vilmei reported the alleged embezzlement of Rp 1.28 billion. She shared this on her personal Instagram account.
Vilmei uploaded a video while searching for the suspected perpetrator. She held proof of withdrawals from her account.
“Today I am sad and very dizzy. One of my employees took Rp 1,282,915,000, one of those here,” Vilmei said, as seen on her personal account, Tuesday (25/8/2026).
The former girlfriend of Willy Salim gathered eight employees who often had access to her TikTok account. Initially, Vilmei asked for someone to confess rather than having to make accusations.
“This was taken from my TikTok account money, which I had never touched at all since I started creating content. For 7 years I never touched it. There was about one million left. When I wanted to pay for a meal, only Rp 1 million remained,” Vilmei said.
Three Suspects Named
The Bekasi City Metro Police have named three people as suspects in the alleged embezzlement of Rp 1.28 billion belonging to content creator Vilmei. Police are now investigating the motive behind the theft by the suspects.
“(The motive for the theft) is still being investigated and corroborated between witness statements and those of the suspects with the available evidence,” said Bekasi City Metro Police Chief Commissioner Putu Kholis Aryana to reporters, Sunday (30/8).
The three suspects are charged under Article 488 of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (new KUHP) regarding the criminal act of embezzlement with aggravating circumstances due to an employment or professional relationship. The suspects face up to five years in prison or a maximum fine of Rp 500 million.
“(The suspects are charged under) Article 488 of the KUHP,” he said.
The three suspects are Z, Vilmei’s employee; a man with the initial A, Z’s boyfriend; and a woman with the initial L, who allegedly helped receive the proceeds of the crime. All three are now in detention.
“The suspects have been detained,” said Commissioner Putu Kholis.
Used for Vilmei’s Employee’s Boyfriend Addicted to Online Gambling
Police are still investigating allegations that the money was used by Vilmei’s employee for her boyfriend, who is addicted to online gambling.
As seen on Vilmei’s personal Instagram on Sunday (30/8/2026), her employee admitted to being threatened by her boyfriend. The money was reportedly used up on online gambling and drinking.
“He threatened me, kept asking for money. If I didn’t give it, our explicit videos would be spread. The money was used up on online gambling and drinking,” Vilmei’s employee said, as seen on Instagram @vilmei.
Bekasi City Metro Police Chief Commissioner Putu Kholis Aryana said his team is still investigating this confession. Investigators are also continuing to gather additional evidence.
“We are still conducting further investigation and gathering additional evidence regarding the statements of the perpetrators who said the victim’s money was used to meet the personal needs of the perpetrators,” said Commissioner Putu Kholis.
