Village Minister Praises Prabowo's Policy on Not Increasing Subsidised Fuel Prices

The Minister of Villages and Underdeveloped Regions (Mendes PDT), Yandri Susanto, has expressed appreciation for President Prabowo Subianto’s policy regarding petroleum fuel (BBM). This was stated by Yandri in his speech at the Memorandum of Understanding signing event with several institutions at the Ministry of Villages office.

“We must be grateful for President Prabowo’s policy of not increasing the price of subsidised BBM,” said Yandri in a written statement on Tuesday (28/4/2026).

“He is defending the little people by not raising the price of subsidised BBM,” Yandri continued.

This former Deputy Chairman of the MPR emphasised that the government will remain consistent in siding with the people by not increasing the price of subsidised BBM.

“The party that feels the impact of subsidised BBM the most is the little people, including those in villages,” he said.

On that occasion, Yandri also invited all village residents to pray for Prabowo’s continued health in his efforts to lead the Indonesian nation.

“We, as the president’s assistants, are ready to ‘Samina Wa Atho’na’,” Yandri concluded.
