Village Head's House in Banjarnegara Targeted with Molotov Cocktail by Unknown Assailants

The home of the village head (Kades) of Purwasaba, Hoho Alkaf, in Banjarnegara Regency, was terrorised by unknown assailants. Hoho’s house was targeted with a Molotov cocktail, striking a vehicle in the garage. According to detikJateng on Friday (24/4/2026), the incident went viral on social media, with images showing police vehicles and forensic teams lined up at Hoho’s residence, and officers present at the scene. When contacted for confirmation, Kades Purwasaba Hoho Alkaf verified the event. He stated that the incident occurred around 04:10 WIB on Thursday (23/4) before dawn. “Just after 04:00 WIB, around 04:10 WIB or 04:15 WIB. I was watching the CCTV, and shortly afterwards, I heard a sound and the fire was already large,” said Hoho when reached by detikJateng. He explained that he was still awake because he had stayed up late into the early hours with several villagers at his home. Not long after, the fire suddenly flared up in the parking area of his house. Hoho said he has reported the incident to the Banjarnegara Police Resort.
