Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Senior Vice President of Volvo Trucks International, Per-Erik Lindström, is optimistic about the prospects for the large truck market in Indonesia, particularly in the natural resources and infrastructure sectors.

Volvo Truck also sees Indonesia’s growing population as an opportunity for Volvo to increase the provision of mass public transport to support mobility through a fleet of comfortable and reliable buses.

Meanwhile, regarding potential investment in Indonesia, European Union investors hope that strengthened trade cooperation between Indonesia and the EU through the IEU-CEPA (Indonesia-European Union Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement) will provide long-term investment certainty.
