Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Amid the massive adoption of digitalisation technology in the artificial intelligence era, the insurance industry is being pushed to increase its use of digital technology to support market expansion and improve business efficiency.

President Director of PT Asuransi Mitra Pelindung Mustika (PMP Insurance), Wayan Pariama, stated that the automation process at PMP Insurance has been underway for 10 years. Technology is being used to simplify administrative processes and data processing, as well as customer service operations to facilitate claims processing for policyholders.

On another front, Wayan Pariama also confirmed the industry’s support for a policy insurance guarantee programme that will be implemented in 2028. This step is important for increasing customer trust whilst strengthening the industry.
