Video: Using Railways, PTBA Logistics Unaffected by the Long Dry Season

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The President Director of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), Bambang Ismawan, stated that PTBA’s positive performance would not have been achieved without the contribution of all its employees, supported by the company’s efficiency strategy, which has successfully controlled the coal stripping ratio and managed overburden.

PTBA is also preparing a strategy to maintain its coal business performance by strengthening planning for the mining of a 40-hectare IUP (mining business permit) area so as to remain efficient. In addition, logistics management via railway continues to be reinforced as a solution to address transport issues during the dry season, supported by efforts to keep sales performance positive.
