Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- CNBC Indonesia held an Insurance Forum with the theme “Optimizing Insurance Protection & New Directions for the Development of Unit-Linked Products in Indonesia” as a forum for discussion for regulators, associations and insurance professionals to find solutions in encouraging the growth and acceleration of the transformation of the national insurance business.

Director of PT Infovesta Utama, Wawan Hendrayana, at the Insurance Forum, conveyed the developments in reforms in the insurance industry, especially related to unit-linked products or PAYDI (Investment-Linked Insurance Products).

Currently, unit-linked insurance has entered a more mature and healthier phase with increasing transparency and a more carefully curated portfolio of unit-linked products, thus increasing customer trust in unit-linked products.

This improvement is also reflected in the growth of unit-linked product performance with premium contributions reaching around IDR 40 trillion in 2025. Better and more profitable PAYDI management is still needed, but it also requires improvements in terms of product variation and diversification to provide a wider range of product choices for customers.

PT Infovesta Utama, which serves as a member of the Jury Board in the Insurance Forum, emphasizes the assessment of the management of PAYDI products so that they have the best performance.

What are the prospects and efforts to develop unit-linked products in the insurance industry? For more details, see the dialogue between Andi Shalini and Director of PT Infovesta Utama, Wawan Hendrayana, in the Insurance Forum, CNBC Indonesia (Thursday, February 26, 2026)
