The United States is entering a historic moment. On 4 July 2026, Uncle Sam’s country will officially turn 250 years old, since declaring independence in 1776. In two and a half centuries, America has managed to transform itself from a new nation on the American continent into the world’s most dominant power. Its economy became the largest. Its military is present in every region. Its technology has altered modern civilisation, and its dollar became the backbone of the global financial system. However, approaching this 250th anniversary, a big question arises. Is America still the most dominant country, or has the world already begun to change?
