Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Strengthening regulation, infrastructure, and the domestic supply chain for supporting components has been identified by the CEO of Solar Karya Indonesia, Christopher Liawan, as a key factor in accelerating the 100 gigawatt peak (GWp) Solar Power Plant (PLTS) programme.

In addition, increasing production capacity and human resources, as well as manufacturing technology for solar panel components, is also needed to meet the requirements of Indonesia’s PLTS development. However, business players are hoping for certainty of market absorption to encourage business expansion in the PLTS sector.
