Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - President Director of PT Gaya Makmur Mobil, Frankie Makaminang, has confirmed the readiness of truck units and heavy equipment for the implementation of B50 biodiesel. As a distributor of trucks for the logistics, construction and mining sectors, GM Mobil has equipped two FAW and XCMG trucks with special devices such as filters that can accommodate B50, although this will result in additional engine maintenance costs.

In addition, electrification presents an opportunity for truck and heavy equipment distributors to enter the logistics and mining sectors with the aim of improving efficiency. However, challenges remain regarding charging station infrastructure and the higher price of vehicle units.
