Video: State Personnel Ministry Leak on PPPK Employee Requirements and Selection at BGN

Jakarta — The Deputy of Human Resources for State Apparatus at the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB), Aba Subagja, has stated that the demand for additional civil servants continues to arise annually, given that approximately 160,000 civil servants retire each year.

In addressing the need for new civil servants, KemenPAN-RB considers several factors, including job competencies and budgetary conditions within the state budget (APBN). One current human resources requirement is aimed at supporting flagship government programmes, such as the Free Nutrition Programme (Badan Bergizi Gratis), which requires PPPK (Contract-Based Government Employees).

KemenPAN-RB ensures that the employee recruitment process for the Free Nutrition Programme follows competency-based selection with specific quotas. These provisions also apply to civil servant recruitment at various other agencies and ministries.
