Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia—CNBC Indonesia, together with the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), organised Jogja Financial Festival 2026 on 22–23 May 2026, featuring a financial festival programme, business talks, educational classes, a comedy live show, an exhibition, a concert and a career corner.

The Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, at Jogja Financial Festival 2026, expressed appreciation for organising Jogja Financial Festival 2026 as a forum to set directions together—how policies, culture, knowledge and technology can meet so that economic growth is not detached from human dignity.

In a time of change, Sri Sultan emphasised that access to finance should not only be expanded but must also be accompanied by vigilance and self‑awareness to avoid harming life.

Sri Sultan invites youths and the public to uphold financial discipline as the foundation of cross‑generational prosperity. Financial literacy is needed to empower youths and the public to achieve financially independent, prosperous living without the traps of interest and debt.
