Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - CNBC Indonesia held an Insurance Forum with the theme “Optimising Insurance Protection & New Directions for Unit-Linked Product Development in Indonesia” as a forum for regulators, associations, and insurance professionals to seek solutions in driving the growth and accelerating the transformation of the national insurance business.

At the Insurance Forum, Sequis Life expressed optimism about the growth prospects of the Indonesian insurance industry in 2026.

Sequis Life, which has life insurance and health insurance products, stated that its President Director & CEO, Ted Margono, provides services and products that focus on customer needs and long-term protection.

One of the insurance products offered by Sequis Life is unit-linked insurance or PAYDI (Investment-Linked Insurance Products), which has the benefit of providing long-term protection and investment functions. Unit-linked insurance is targeted at a wider audience but will provide maximum benefits to customers with good literacy regarding risks and benefits.

To address several issues related to PAYDI, the OJK has issued regulations regarding the uniformity of insurance and insurance agents so that they can provide in-depth information regarding the benefits and risks as well as the obligations of Unit-linked insurance so that customers have a thorough understanding of the products they purchase.
