A global rating agency and index provider’s assessment of Indonesia is one of the sentiments drawing investor attention to the attractiveness of the Indonesian financial market. Regarding the MSCI assessment, Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia’s Chief of Equity Strategist, Aldo Perkasa, is confident that Indonesia still has the opportunity to maintain its position in the Emerging Market, in line with the stock exchange authority’s commitment to consistently push for Indonesian stock market reform. Meanwhile, regarding central bank interest rate policy, Bank Indonesia and The Fed are expected to raise their respective interest rates by 25 basis points by the end of 2026, although this remains influenced by inflation developments.
