The government targets the activation and operation of 30,000 Kopdes Merah Putih (KDMP) cooperatives in July-August 2026. These KDMPs are intended to support community businesses and economies, equipped with units for selling basic necessities, savings and loans, warehousing, logistics transportation, up to village clinics and medicine outlets. Meanwhile, regarding the provision of imported vehicles from India in the form of 105,000 pick-up truck units, this is aimed at facilitating logistics and the distribution system for economic activities, including agriculture. On the other hand, the government is opening registrations for job vacancies for 30,000 positions as managers of Kopdes Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperatives (KDMP) from 15-24 April 2026. The government invites all young people and is open to the public as part of creating employment opportunities and contributing to managing the village economy.
