Video: Queue of Applicants for Rooftop Solar Power Plants, Developers Request Increased Quota
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The CEO of SUN Energy, Emmanuel Jefferson Kuesar, has confirmed the readiness of the New and Renewable Energy (EBT) industry to accelerate EBT development towards Indonesia’s energy sovereignty target within 3-5 years.
SUN Energy, along with associations, continues to collaborate with the government and stakeholders in EBT development, including pushing for an increase in the rooftop solar power plant (PLTS Atap) quota in response to the high queues of interested parties. Additionally, developers hope for the acceleration of EBT project implementation through the Energy Transition Acceleration Task Force to expedite EBT development and provide certainty for investors.
There is a positive response to President Prabowo Subianto’s step in forming the Energy Transition Acceleration Task Force to accelerate EBT development towards Indonesia’s energy sovereignty target within 3-5 years, led by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia.
