Video: Prabowo Targets Rupiah at Rp16,800–Rp17,500 per USD for 2027

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — President Prabowo Subianto will deliver the Macroeconomic Framework and the Core Fiscal Policy (KEM-PPKF) for the RAPBN 2027 to the 19th Plenary Session of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) during the Fifth Year Session of 2025-2026. Prabowo said Indonesia is currently facing economic and global geopolitical challenges, and therefore the Government is responsible for the welfare of the Indonesian people. The RAPBN is thus a tool to defend the people and their welfare. The KEM-PPKF RAPBN 2027 targets revenue at 11.82%–12.40% of GDP to support priority programs, with the budget deficit targeted at 1.8%–2.4% of GDP.
