Aceh Tamiang, CNBC Indonesia - The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, conveyed Eid al-Fitr greetings along with appreciation for the accelerated recovery following the flood disaster in the Aceh Tamiang region, Aceh Province. This was stated by Prabowo after performing Eid al-Fitr prayers with the community at the Darussalam Mosque, in the temporary housing area of Aceh Tamiang Regency, on Saturday (21/3). The President expressed his hope that the Eid al-Fitr moment would bring goodness to all Indonesian people. On that occasion, the President also highlighted the progress of post-disaster recovery, which he assessed as progressing very quickly and significantly. In fact, according to the Head of State, the recovery has already reached nearly 100 percent. The President added that the condition of basic infrastructure has also been restored almost completely. “Electricity is almost all running, nearly 100 percent, only five villages out of the entire Aceh, only five villages that are indeed difficult,” he explained. For this achievement, the President expressed appreciation to all parties involved in handling and recovering from the disaster. “I am very proud and thank all the officials, all the apparatus, from the TNI, Police, BNPB, Public Works, local government, and all ministries/institutions that have worked extraordinarily to help the people,” he said.
