Video: Post-Lebaran, Kalteng's Agricultural and Trade Credit Demand Soars
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Bank Kalteng Managing Director Maslipansyah confirmed the Regional Development Bank’s (BPD) support for OJK guidelines on adjusting the Bank Business Plan (RBB) to align with government priority programmes.
Bank Kalteng’s business operations are focused on supporting government flagship programmes through financing for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), education, healthcare, and community welfare.
For MSME financing, Bank Kalteng has three main strategies: strengthening the local ecosystem that connects MSMEs to regional supply chains in agriculture, trade, construction, and the Merah Putih Village Cooperative.
Additionally, Bank Kalteng is advancing MSMEs by upgrading KUR clients to commercial financing, enhancing digitalisation and mentoring to simplify transaction recording. The bank is also developing locally-based products and strengthening its network of 14 branches and 379 service units.
Bank Kalteng is optimistic about post-Lebaran financing trends, with a shift from household consumption to productive activities driving increased working capital credit demand. The bank’s priority financing sectors include wholesale and retail trade, construction and infrastructure, and agriculture and plantations.
